Today we will return to the sermon series in the book of Acts that we began 8 months ago. It has been two months since we took a break from this series. We have gained many new listeners in this time so today we will reprise the introduction to the book of Acts.
Acts is the third longest book in the New Testament. It was written by Like as a continuation of the ministry of Jesus that he had begun to record in the Gospel of Luke.
Luke was a Greek, a physician, a follower of Christ and a traveling companion of the Apostle Paul. He was also an eyewitness too many of the events he writes about in this book. In so doing Luke became the Historian of the Early Christian Church……
